This year we will complete what was started in your 7th grade Social Studies class. 8th grade will focus on the second half of U.S. History. This will include industrial growth, World War I & II, and the coming of new and diverse eras.
We will spend time understanding the text and using that knowledge, as well as prior knowledge from 7th grade, to apply what we have learned to create meaningful, thought-out, intuitive conversations and projects.

We will also be working on current events throughout the year.
