WELCOME TO ANOTHER SCHOOL YEAR!
Sts. Philip & James School participates in the CMSAA (Catholic Middle School Athletic Association) sports program. As we approach our next year in the program, we are excited about the progress our school has made. We are proud to say that last year over 80% of the students participated in at least one of the sports offered. We are not looking for super athletes; instead we would like to give every student the opportunity to participate, regardless of their experience.
We feel it is a great addition to the already high level of academics provided to the students of SSPJ and thank the administration for their continued support. Please take the time to read the Rules and Regulations and sign and return the bottom portion of the form. You will find important information that all Parents need to be aware of.
We look forward to this opportunity to represent our school and our children in their athletic endeavors. Please contact us with any questions/concerns you may have.

If you have any photos that you take during the year, please email them to us so we can include them on the website and in the Gabriel.

Schedules and Directions
Please see the CMSAA website for all schedules and directions. We are usually listed in the “small school” division.
Travel is a big part of participating in CMSAA sports. There are currently 24 schools participating in the league. Although we are in close proximity to several Catholic schools, we may not compete against them every season. There are usually several Parents who travel to the games, and many will be able to help in getting all the athletes to the games. Walker notes are required listing the name of the Parent driving to the game.
Sports Appreciation Day
To be held once a season, when all the athletes wear their uniforms so school.
End of Year Sports Dinner
Takes place in June for students who have participated in at least 1 sport during the year.
