Danielle Komyathy is the first grade teacher here at Sts. Philip and James School. Prior
to coming to SSPJ, she has been employed by the Smithtown and Hauppauge school
districts as a substitute teacher for the past three school years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Childhood Education (grades 1-6), with honors, from the State University of Oneonta. She also graduated with a Master of Arts
degree in Childhood Special Education (grades 1-6), with honors, from St. Joseph's
College. During the summer, she supervises a playground program of about 100 children and 25 counselors for the Town of
Smithtown Recreation Department.
