4th Grade Religion

Welcome to Ms. Viscusi's 4th Grade Religion Class!

How Does the Catholic Church Declare Official Saints?

The Bible

As a supplement to each chapter in our Religion curriculum, students are introduced to new songs by Christian and Catholic artists.  Some of these artists include Matthew West, Matt Maher, and more!  The students are enjoying learning new songs, new ways to pray, and praising God together!

Hello, My Name Is

This song by Matthew West allows students to reflect on the idea that, above all else, their identity rests in the fact that they are beloved sons and daughter of the Almighty!

The End and The Beginning

This song by Matt Maher allows students to reflect on the Eucharist, and the Consecration of the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Our Lord that we witness every time we go to Mass.  The students learned about Transubstantiation!

Your Love Defends Me

This song by Matt Maher allows students to reflect on the idea that our Father does not leave us as orphans, but is with us each day.  He, and His Love, are sufficient.

As It Is In Heaven

This song by Matt Maher allows students to reflect on the origin of the Our Father, the words that Jesus gave us Himself.  Students had the opportunity to listen to the passage from Scripture where Jesus gave us the words to use when praying to our Father, and then listened to and prayed with this song.
