      Mrs. Testa began her teaching career in 1980 and has taught in both public and private schools.  She began teaching at Sts. Philip and James School in 1987.   
     In 2008 she was the recipient of the Distinguished Educator Award  for the Diocese of Rockville Centre from the Tomorrow's  Hope Foundation and in  2007 she was  awarded the Who's Who  Among  America's Teacher Award.  
       Mrs. Testa holds degrees from West Chester State University,  Stony Brook University,  and Fordham University.   She also studied at the University of Illinois.   She is certified  in elementary education, has a Masters degree as well as an administrative degree.
After serving as Assistant Principal at Sts. Philip and James School for 18 years, in July of 2014  Mrs. Testa was appointed Principal of Sts. Philip and James School.
